The Corinda Collection

In both cases you are free to make use of the main house for breakfast (a cooked-to-order one is available for a surcharge), or you can have it in the cottage if you prefer. The living standard at The Corinda Collection is exceptional, with your bathroom including a shower, bathrobes and of course free toiletries, the bed furnished with a down duvet and other premium-quality bedding, and you have the comforts of an espresso maker, a kettle for making tea and even bottled water awaiting your arrival.

Accommodation is heated, and when it comes to the previously mentioned laundry equipment this includes both a washing machine and a clothes dryer, as well as an iron and ironing board. The Corinda Collection is a pet-free and non-smoking place to stay, and it is worth pointing out that the sleeping areas in the cottages have stair access, as they are on the first floor. Parking is free, and you are in the care of multi-lingual staff who can provide assistance with luggage storage and are also worth speaking to if you fancy using the premises for wedding services. With spectacular gardens, including a picnic area, it is more than just an overnight stay for which it is worth coming here.

Being just north of the centre of Hobart, you have the historical district on your doorstep, and quite a lot of places of interest are within walking distance such as the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, Theatre Royal and of course all of the waterfront attractions of Franklin Wharf. You are just under fifteen minutes’ drive from Hobart International Airport, and eight minutes from a trip back in time to Tasmanian Transport Museum Station, home of a fascinating collection of locomotives and rolling stock from the days when the island still had a passenger rail service.
