The Blue House
In addition to an amazing view of the bay and mountains, this six-person, two-floor holiday home has cooking facilities, a spacious lounge and wireless internet, near to Coles Bay township and right by the beach.
The main bedroom is located upstairs, containing a queen bed and enjoying magnificent views of the water. Next to it there is a king bed which can be turned into a pair of singles, and all bedding is provided. Downstairs it is possible to add to the two single beds with a pull-out sofa, which turns into a double bed. In the bathroom, as well as towels, there is a shower and if you need them, a cot and high chair can be included (it will be necessary to provide your own bedding for the cot).
Food preparation in The Blue House is with the assistance of a built-in oven and stove top, a microwave oven, a refrigerator and equipment for making tea and coffee. This is in a kitchen section over in one corner of a large, open-plan room. Elsewhere in the same room is a wooden dining table, an L-shaped leather sofa, a flat-screen television and a coffee table. Laundry equipment such as a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board come with the property, plus a fire extinguisher.
Parking and wireless internet are free, and outside there is a patio with a barbecue set, a picnic table and a couple of sun loungers. Here you can sit and enjoy the view of the sea, or you can head off into the Coles Bay region and see why the place is so much loved by visitors. Freycinet National Park’s visitor centre is a short distance off to the east, making it easy to reach either by car or on foot. The Blue House is also close to restaurants, cafes, shops and surfable beaches. There is fresh seafood to buy, a nine-hole golf course to the south and opportunities for diving, fishing and four-by-four adventures.
Nestled on the beach, this Coles Bay vacation home is just steps from Nine Mile Beach and Sandpiper Beach. Coles Bay Conservation Area and Freycinet Marine Farm are also within 3 mi (5 km).
