Sunrise at Penguin
A moderately large group will enjoy this holiday home, perfectly equipped for a self-catering holiday and with the owners just 90 seconds away and available round the clock, you will be well looked after here, and it’s close to all the attractions that Penguin has to offer.
Sunrise At Penguin is a large, three-bedroom house. Two of the bedrooms have a queen bed and the third contains a pair of singles. Rooms are carpeted and during your stay you may make use of electric blankets, an iron, a clothes rack, a hot tub and a children’s crib. The kitchen is equipped with an oven and stove top, a dishwasher, an electric kettle, a microwave oven, a coffee maker with a supply of coffee, a refrigerator and a washing machine. There is also a dining table, a high chair, some wine glasses and a selection of cleaning products.
When it comes to the bathroom, you have a bath and a shower, and towels for an additional fee. The living area has a television with a DVD player, a computer, a CD player and a video. There is also a desk, dining and seating area, a selection of books, films and music for children.
The property is so named because you get a great deal of sunshine in the house, from sunrise to sunset. A daily maid service is available, and the whole non-smoking, pet-free property has air conditioning and heating, as well as being suitable for disabled guests.
Outside you will find that Sunrise At Penguin has secure garage parking, a patio and balcony, an outdoor barbecue and outdoor furniture. There is direct access to the beach, or you can relax in the garden and picnic area. You even have a children’s playground at your disposal. Additional perks include a twenty-four hour front desk and the use of fax and photocopying facilities, so the property may come in useful for business travellers.
As well as a huge fibreglass penguin at the seafront, the town boasts Australia’s largest covered market, a miniature railway, an amazing display of flowers in Perry/Ling Gardens and Hiscutt Park, plus long sandy beaches and a generous number of shops, restaurants and cafes. During the nesting season you can watch the fairy penguins in the evening, and there is a boat ramp so that you can have easy access to the open sea, perfect for sailing as well as fishing, canoeing and jet skiing. Over 70 kilometres of mountain-biking tracks pass through Penguin, and little over an hour’s drive can take you either to Cradle Mountain or Stanley’s historic Nut.
With direct access to the beach, this Penguin vacation home is next to a golf course and within a 10-minute walk of Penguin Undercover Market, Penguin Beach, and Penguin Tourist Information Centre. Johnsons Beach and Penguin General Cemetery are also within 1 mi (2 km). Penguin Station is 11 minutes by foot.

Sunrise at Penguin is absolutely amazing... From the moment we walked in we felt relaxed... The views are magnificent and so relaxing... Walk straight across to the beach.. Our daughter (2) loved watching the train go past...(couldn't even hear it in the house!) Beds comfortable and warm on a cold night... House is spotless and clean. Thank you again Terry for your welcome to the house also.
