Strahan Holidays
Strahan Holidays is a pair of holiday homes, one a wheelchair-accessible cottage called Olivia’s Suite and the other a three-bedroom house with a garden, called Featherstone Cottage.
Featherstone includes a bathroom with an actual bath, a full kitchen and laundry facilities. There is a good deal of off-street parking, with one parking space having a cover. As well as the garden, guests have the use of an entertainment deck, a television and DVD player in the large separate lounge, air conditioning, electric heating and electric blankets.
With Olivia’s the TV-DVD combination is complemented with Foxtel, and there are full cooking facilities, electric blankets and air conditioning as in Featherstone. The bathroom has been specially designed for the use of those with less mobility, such as wheelchair users. Guests at Olivia’s also are greeted with some complimentary port!
Whichever Strahan Holidays cottage you select, you are in a good place for exploring the town. Featherstone is enclosed in a natural bush environment while also being close to the town centre, and just a single street away from the esplanade and harbour. If you are interested in either the historic ABT Railway or the cruise boats, both are about the same distance from the property albeit in different directions. Olivia’s actually overlooks the harbour and is great for the local eateries, whether you are looking for a cafe, a takeaway or a hotel. Nearby you can find Hogarth Falls, an amphitheatre, West Strahan Swimming beach, a number of galleries and the aforementioned ABT.
