Just for two, this modern and luxurious holiday home is in the heart of the most beautiful countryside, is equipped with everything a self-caterer needs and offers extras like a private chef and a grocery service.
There is a king-size bed in the large, open-plan living area with a well furnished sitting area next to the dining area. You get the most spectacular views of the bush surrounding you, and you can relax in a wooden rocking chair in front of a real fire. A separate bathroom features a shower and a skylight, while outside on the deck area there is a Huon pine bath big enough for two.
There is a top-quality kitchen, a dishwasher, a television with a DVD player, an iPod dock, a CD player, a minibar and facilities for laundry, including the all-important iron and ironing board. Rocky Hills Retreat is for a maximum of two guests who must be adults, with the property also having a no-pets policy. Guests also have the use of a separate, fully equipped art studio which is just 300 metres away.
There are 250 acres of native bush land circling the property, and from the retreat you can see out across the valley and towards Maria Island. You will find some gourmet breakfast provisions waiting for you on arrival, and there is outdoor furniture on the deck if you prefer to eat al-fresco.
Rocky Hills Retreat offers a concierge service and some optional extras include in-house catering by a private chef, spa massage treatment and someone can go and buy your food provisions for you. There are also a number of local tours which can be organised.
If you drive for about fifteen minutes, you can reach Jubilee Beach. Sandpiper Beach is just under an hour away. Other places of interest within driving distance include Milton Vineyards, Kates Berry Farm, Waterloo Point and Spiky Bridge. There are also boat trips on offer locally.
Situated in a regional park, this luxury vacation home is within 1 mi (2 km) of Mayfield Bay Conservation Area and Little Christmas Island Nature Reserve. Kelvedon Beach Conservation Area is 2.9 mi (4.7 km) away.
