Queen, Double, Single and Sofa beds, with top-quality bedding, allow anywhere between two and ten to sleep, and each cottage is individually furnished. In addition to a bathroom with a claw-foot slipper bath, marble benches in the well-equipped kitchen and French Provincial furniture, Riversdale Estate Cottages have televisions with DVD players, heating, air conditioning a selection of books and board games and tremendous views of the water and surrounding countryside.
The kitchen in the largest property at Riversdale Estate Cottages includes an oven, a stove and a dishwasher, while guests here have two bathrooms – on an en-suite to the master bedroom and one separate. You also get a dining area, formal lounge area and a separate room where the library is. Another that also accommodates ten includes a magnificent oak table and a sun room, along with glorious views of the water and the vineyards.
Guests are welcome to make use of the barbecue equipment provided, and while you are staying at this non-smoking and pet-free venue there is also a laundry available for a surcharge. Children any age may stay here, although there are no additional cots among the furniture.
The estate itself is a short distance away, where you can find a luxurious bistro, wines from the largest vineyard in the Coal Valley, and a chance to step into the world of Beatrix Potter in the Peter Rabbit Gardens.
As for Hobart, it’s only a quarter of an hour’s drive from this little paradise, so whether it is the business district or Salamanca Market there is not much travelling you need in order to explore the city, and HBA Hobart International Airport is even nearer, with the owners putting it at an eight-minute journey.
Located in Cambridge, this luxury cottage is 0.1 mi (0.2 km) from Grote Reber Museum and within 3 mi (5 km) of Craigow Vineyard and Coal Valley Vineyard. Puddleduck Vineyard and Frogmore Creek are also within 6 mi (10 km).
