There is sleeping space for up to five, including a wheelchair-friendly apartment, cooking facilities and, following recent refurbishments, the spacious rooms have plenty of modern furniture and equipment for your comfort, all the while being close to the shops, restaurants and, perhaps most importantly, the seafront of this delightful town.
Studios and Apartments feature queen, single and king-single beds, a flat-screen television with a built-in DVD player, modern furnishings and a private bathroom that has a shower in it. A miniature railway runs parallel to the coastline, a huge penguin mascot can be found on the extensive promenade and, for a mine of useful local knowledge of places to visit, Penguin Tourist Information Centre is just three minutes’ walk from the motel. A trip out of town to Dial Range Forest Reserve or Mount Montgomery State Reserve is perfect for nature lovers, and the town of Penguin itself is around an hour and a half from LST Launceston Airport.
Situated near the beach, this motel is within a 5-minute walk of Penguin Tourist Information Centre and Penguin Undercover Market. Penguin Beach and Johnsons Beach are also within 15 minutes. Penguin Station is 7 minutes by foot.
