On the Terrace

Free off-street parking and internet, a ceiling fan, a television with a DVD player, a clock radio, blackout curtains, laundry facilities (including an iron and board) and barbecue facilities which you can make use of in the private courtyard or patio are also part of the experience. The owners are on hand if you need any help with anything from tour and ticket booking, to luggage storage or anything that arises during your stay, but you will be left in complete privacy otherwise.

As well as being just a stone’s throw from the long, sandy beach and The Nut, a local extinct volcanic plughole with fantastic panoramic views from the top (climb or take the chairlift to the summit), On The Terrace is not far from top-class restaurants and places of interest such as Joe Lyons Cottage. The town has a wide range of coffee shops and galleries, and Stanley Visitor Information Centre can provide you with a list of attractions for self-guided tours of the area. Then there is fishing, surfing, golf, the seaquarium and even boat trips to encounter the local seals and penguins.
