Well-equipped and comfortable are two apt descriptions to this B&B, in which every room has its own bathroom, laundry and cooking facilities are available, and the quiet and pretty location in Scottsdale is a good place for a holiday, with Launceston not far away.
There is an en-suite bathroom in each of the five self-contained rooms, space for between two and four guests and two of them is have disabled facilities. Queen beds (single beds also in some), wall heating, electric blankets, tea and coffee facilities, a toaster and a fridge are standard, along with a fifteen-channel television.

It’s near to major road in the north-east of Tasmania, so driving to North East Rest Awhile Bed And Breakfast is a piece of cake. The local countryside includes low mountain ranges to one side with the sea to the north, and there are some lovely views of Launceston, which is just sixteen kilometres away.
The visitor centre is in what used to be the old police station, and some of the attractions that bring tourists here include Bridestowe Lavender Farm, White Sands and Lost Farm Golf Links at nearby Bridport, and just a couple of minutes’ drive takes you to the work-hard-play-hard paradise of Pepperbush 4WD Tours.
Situated in Scottsdale, this guesthouse is 0.8 mi (1.3 km) from Scottsdale Art & Framing and 2.7 mi (4.4 km) from Mount Stronach Regional Reserve. North Scottsdale Regional Reserve and Mount Maurice Regional Reserve are also within 9 mi (15 km).
