Jensens Bed and Breakfast
Panoramic views of the river and gardens by day, a roaring log fire at night and luxury rooms, this B&B is a top-quality place to stay when you are visiting the Tamar Valley.
Both rooms include luxuriously furnished queen beds, electric blankets, en-suite bathrooms, bathrobes and towels. One has a magnificent claw-foot bath, and both include a shower and toiletries. The adults-only, non-smoking hotel has off-road parking, wireless internet at no extra cost, and just give a shout if you need an iron.
The guest lounge at Jensens Bed and Breakfast has self-serve tea and coffee, along with a few other treats, and you have a mini bar, a guest verandah, a dining room and a log fire to keep you warm during the cooler times of the year. The garden, complete with rotunda, overlooks the River Tamar while the drawing room has a supply of books, card games, a DVD library and a stereo.
As well as vaulted ceilings and antiques decorating the place, you have complimentary port and a choice of continental or full cooked breakfast each morning, including home made bread and jams, artisan bacon, fresh eggs and seasonal fruit.
Jensens Bed and Breakfast is in an area where wine tours are popular, and your hosts can organise a tour if you like. Restaurants, cafes and a couple of yacht clubs can be found nearby, as well as the intriguing Platypus House and Seahorse World. You are also just under ten minutes’ drive from Beaconsfield Mine and Heritage Centre, and about an hour from DPO Devonport Airport.
Situated in Beauty Point, this bed & breakfast is within 1 mi (2 km) of Seahorse World and Platypus House. Beaconsfield Mine & Heritage Centre and Iron Pot Bay Vineyard are also within 12 mi (20 km).
This smoke-free bed & breakfast features a library, a garden, and free breakfast. Free WiFi in public areas and free self parking are also provided.
All 2 rooms offer free WiFi, premium bedding, and flat-screen TVs with DVD players. Other amenities available to guests include hair dryers, showers, and free toiletries.
Had a wonderful time. The view is amazing, the bed very comfortable and the hospitality was brilliant. Thank you Carol for a lovely stay.

Absolutely delightful B and B. Carol, the perfect hostess. Beautiful rooms, yummy food, amazing view and gardens. A perfect ending to our holiday, we have just walked The Three Capes. Thank you Carol.

We enjoyed the peace and comfort of this lovely place very much! Not to forget the lovingly prepared and set breakfast table and the wonderful breakfast. Everything was just perfect. Same procedure next year …… !? We would certainly hope so, but Germany is pretty far away.
