Hamptons on the Bay
This is self-catering accommodation of luxury proportions, including some of the best sea views in Tasmania, perfect for an escape from city life and for nature lovers, as well as being just ten minutes’ drive from Swansea.
A cabin has a queen bed and ones with an additional pair of king singles are particularly suitable for a family with two children. Linens, towels, a separate bathroom with a shower, toilet and vanity, a kitchen with a small combination oven and stove, a fridge, a microwave, a toaster, a kettle and a selection of items for preparing and serving are included, along with a starter pack of tea, coffee and drinking chocolate.
Each of the cabins at Hamptons On The Bay are free-standing, with shared barbecue equipment. Your combined dining and lounge area has a 32-inch television with a DVD player and satellite channels, sofas, heating and the whole place is dotted with Japanese and Chinese décor. You can admire the view of the sea from each of these holiday homes, as they are all perched on the cliff top.
The three-bedroom house won the Luxury Travel Guide Award for Luxury Villa Of The Year – Tasmania in 2017. Not surprising, considering it features over three hundred square metres of living space, three en-suite bedrooms with king beds, two of which have sitting areas as well, a bespoke, hand-crafted wooden dining table for ten, air-conditioning, and sweeping views of the sea from all of the bedrooms and even from one of the bathrooms. The kitchen is the cat’s whiskers, including dual ovens, a large fridge, microwave, bread-maker, kettle, toaster, a Nespresso coffee machine and various Neff cooking appliances. It also includes a 60-inch plasma television, sumptuous lounge, private barbecue area, front-loading washing machine and vaulted ceilings.
Wine lovers will appreciate how near the vineyards are, and the reasonably nearby Triabunna (it’s around 40 kilometres but takes little more than ten minutes to reach by car) is a good choice for fishing, sailing and diving. If you are a fan of adventure holidays, Hamptons On The Bay is in a good place for hiking, canoeing, or leisurely nature walks. Penguin tours take place locally and, if you drive about ten minutes to Swansea, the seaside town includes numerous restaurants, shops and sheltered beaches.

All 8 cabins feature kitchens with refrigerators and stovetops, plus coffee makers and LCD TVs.
We feel so fortunate to have stayed in this wonderful house. The beautiful and ever changing sea and the exemplary facilities that the house offers. And the delicious final night seafood dinner with Chris and Kelvin which was a great on every level.
Beautiful overnight stay. Loved this little cabin very cosy,clean, comfy bed, beautifully furnished and the most amazing ocean view from living area and bedroom situated in tranquil bush setting! Only a short drive to Swansea for cafes and restaurants. Would recommend a stay.
Great Hospitality. Drop into Hampton's on the bay and stayed two nights, fantastic views and a great hospitality. Close to wine glass bay and the local seafood shacks and wineries. Freycinet Marine Farm is a must see on the way back from Wine Glass bay.
