There are two bedrooms, a private bathroom with a shower, a large lounge area complete with a log fire in the corner, a laundry room and a furnished first-floor balcony. The views are just amazing, with the bay visible over the treetops in one direction and the mountains in another.
Cove Beach Apartment 2 has a spacious, modern kitchen with equipment such as a cooker, multiple hobs, a microwave oven, a fridge and a dishwasher. There is also everything you need for when you want a cup of tea or coffee. The lounge area is huge, with a flat-screen television, a lovely L-shaped sofa, a hammock chair, and there are huge sliding glass doors that lead onto the balcony.
Laundry facilities are in a separate room, with everything you need for the task including an iron and board, and underneath the first-floor living area is a garage where you can park your car in safety. There is free wireless internet available, and the property (which has a no-smoking, no-pets rule) is air-conditioned. To add to the list of mod cons, there is a speaker-phone, a laptop-compatible safe, a work desk, a hair dryer and the owners have made sure the place has towels and dressing gowns available to the guests.
You could spend all your holiday never leaving Cove Beach Apartment 2, just enjoying the views and making use of the barbecue equipment provided. However, Coles Bay is an amazing place to explore. The beach is only a couple of minutes away, and you are round the corner from Freycinet National Park (its Visitor Centre is only a three-minute drive from the property). If you prefer to eat out rather than cook for yourself, the café Iluka Tavern is about five minutes away on foot.
