Cornwall Cottage
As well as the lovely views of the valley and river, this self-catering holiday home includes mod cons like electric blankets and a television as well as antique and cottage furniture, in a peaceful setting that is just a quarter of an hour from the Central Business District of Hobart.
Two bedrooms include a queen bed and two singles, both old-fashioned iron beds with high-quality bedding that includes Egyptian cotton sheets, a pillow menu and electric blankets, and you can make use of a roll-out bed if you have an additional child with you. Cornwall Cottage has a full bathroom, with a deep bathtub and a separate shower, bathrobes, free toiletries and a hair dryer, and the pet-free, non-smoking building is mostly wheelchair accessible (there are some stairs to parts of it). Parking is on-site and free of charge.
The aforementioned television in enormous – a seventy-two-inch flat-screen model with a DVD player to boot. There is also a CD player, free wireless internet, and you can make use of a good collection of CDs, DVDs, books and games. The kitchenette contains all you need, such as an oven, a stove top, a microwave, a refrigerator, an electric kettle, a coffee maker and several items of cutlery, cookware and dishes. Other essentials include an iron and ironing board, laundry equipment, a supply of bottled water and the ingredients for a good continental breakfast, as well a complimentary bottle of port.
There is, for a surcharge, a childcare service and there is plenty of luggage-storage space. Heating and a portable fan add to the comfort, and when you step outside there is a lovely garden, with a veranda and a barbecue set. The hosts, who live on site, keep chickens and you or your children are most welcome to help with egg collecting if you like.
Opposite Cornwall Cottage is a golf course, and you are a mere fifteen minutes’ drive from MONA, the Museum of Old and New Art. Other Hobart attractions that are easy to reach include Seven Mile Beach and Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens, while HBA Hobart International Airport is under ten minutes away.
Located in Cambridge, this aparthotel is 0.7 mi (1.2 km) from Coal Valley Vineyard and within 3 mi (5 km) of Grote Reber Museum and Puddleduck Vineyard. Meehan Range Nature Recreation Area and Frogmore Creek are also within 6 mi (10 km).

Amazing Stay I was a bit hesitant in staying in a B&B but WOW amazing! We had one side of the main house which had two bedrooms, a bathroom, separate toilet, kitchen, lounge and dining room. It was more than we could ask for. Peta (owner) provided fresh home baked bread, freshly laid eggs, freshly picked berries, butter and milk plus much more. The cottage is based on a farm near Richmond with amazing views. It was so comfortable we could have stayed for so much longer. We would definitely stay here again.
Lovely B&B in delightful surroundings We thoroughly enjoyed our stay over Christmas at this beautifully presented B&B in peaceful surroundings and yet only 10mins drive to Hobart. Peta's attention to detail is wonderful with fresh farm eggs, tomatoes, home baked bread, jams and beautiful berries supplied as needed. Santa even left gifts for us at our door Christmas morning, so thoughtful! We left (reluctantly) refreshed and relaxed. A lovely stay in Tasmania.
