Anywhere from four to eleven guests can be accommodated at the various fully furnished, self-contained cottages. At one end, Cedar Loft has sleeping space for two adults and two children in a studio apartment with a double bed and two fold-outs. At the opposite end is Country Cottage, with four bedrooms, nine beds, two bathrooms and two separate living areas in a two-storey house.
Wireless internet is available to all, linens and towels are provided, laundry facilities are either included in the cottage or accessible elsewhere on site, there are barbecue facilities and children have the use of a swing set and in some cases a wooden Cubby house as well. The kitchen equipment includes an oven and hobs, the tools for making coffee and tea, a refrigerator, a microwave, cutlery, dishes and cookware. A flat-screen television is there for your entertainment, accompanied by a DVD player. Air conditioning and heating ensure you will be comfortable whatever the weather, and pets stay free, subject to a handful of restrictions. There is a fully fenced front yard where they are welcome to play in safety.
Cedar Cottages Blackmans Bay are separated between two locations not far from each other. The entire set of properties may be hired in one go, meaning that a maximum of 35 can stay at one time, with some reductions available for booking multiple nights.
The beach in Blackmans Bay is not far from the cottages, and if you have a car handy you can find good shopping opportunities only about fifteen minutes away in Kingston and Hobart. As well as plenty of bush-walking activities that you can take part in from this town, there is also a market and the place has a takeaway, a bottle shop, a bakery and is less than ten minutes away from a grand total of three golf courses, as well as three public swimming pools and a sports centre.
Located in Blackmans Bay, this vacation home is within 9 mi (15 km) of Kingborough Sports Centre, Taroona Shot Tower, and University of Tasmania. Mount Nelson Lookout and Wrest Point Casino are also within 12 mi (20 km).
