Bruny Vista Cabin
Not only is there a four-poster queen bed to sleep in, but you also have a large bathroom, a kitchen and a comfortable seating area which leads, through large, glass doors, to a deck with fantastic views and from where you can enjoy a barbecue with the wood-fired set provided.
The kitchen comes with an oven with hobs, a kettle, a large fridge-freezer, and a supply of tea and coffee, plus a good deal of work space. There are towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner and a hair dryer in the bathroom, and all the bed linen is there for your arrival. The seating area has a flat-screen television and a selection of books, and there is also a music system which you can take from room to room.
While you are staying at Bruny Vista Cabin you can relax in the five acres of land it is built on, with native forest around the edges and frequent visits by wallabies and other Tasmanian wildlife. There is also a vegetable garden and a number of fruit trees which you are welcome to go foraging in.
Bruny Island can be reached by a chartered sailing boat courtesy of the local firm of SailTas, with discounted rates for guests of Bruny Vista Cabin, and the whole area around Bruny is full of hiking trails of varying difficulty so you can explore the beauty of this part of Tasmania and give yourself a good workout in the process. Tennis, swimming, fishing or just putting your feet up at a local pub are all ways you can spend your time here, and if birdwatching is your thing, you are definitely in for a treat.
Situated in Kettering, this cabin is 1.7 mi (2.7 km) from Oyster Cove Marina and 2.1 mi (3.4 km) from Kettering Ferry Terminal. Snug Falls is 7.6 mi (12.3 km) away.

We had a very relaxing experience staying at Bruny Vista Cabin in Kettering. The view is amazing! It was a great stop to stay and enjoy nature.
Just wanted to say THANKS we had a lovely restful time at your place and fell in love with it. We left the outside light on as it was dark when we left for a flights.
We were really delighted by the cottage! The view is wonderful, and wallabies popping their heads up out of the grass in the field below in the morning and late afternoon added another "aaaah" factor.
