Beaches ‘n’ Greens
A choice of two cottages, one sleeping four and the other five, you have laundry, cooking and entertainment equipment with the beach right next door so it is ideal for one or two families looking for a seaside holiday base.
Beds, which are fully furnished, are a combination of queen-size, singles and bunks. A pair of sofas sit in the open-plan living area, which has a television and DVD player, and at the other end is the spacious kitchen with four bar chairs, ample work space, an oven, stove and extractor hood, a full-size refrigerator, a microwave oven and an electric kettle, among other pieces of equipment.
Despite what some websites claim, these properties are not for pets and, for those who hate the smell of stale tobacco smoke, you will be pleased to know they are for non-smokers. They are most definitely child-friendly, with a high chair and travel crib if you need one, a sand pit, a Wendy house (known as a cubby house here) and a selection of children’s books and toys.
The bathroom includes toiletries such as soap and toilet paper, towels are also provided and there is a hair dryer. Other must-haves include the all-important iron and ironing board, clothes hangers, access to a washing machine and dryer, extra pillows and blankets so everyone has a comfortable night’s sleep, and there is a smoke detector for your peace of mind. Beaches ‘n’ Greens includes free parking, so after the sixty-minute drive from DPO Devonport Airport you won’t need to hunt around for a space.
Outside the 3.5-star property is a fenced garden, a deck area and barbecue equipment. Just take a short walk and there is a safe swimming beach, a well-stocked grocery store and takeaway, a nine-hole golf course and some tennis courts for hire. If you came here to spot some of Tasmania’s wildlife, you are not far from Narawntapu National Park and its bush-walking land, and about a quarter of an hour’s drive can take you to several cafes, restaurants and supermarkets.
Situated near the beach, this vacation home is within a 10-minute walk of Narawntapu National Park and Greens Beach. Greens Beach Conservation Area and Pebbly Beach are also within 3 mi (5 km).
Along with laundry facilities, this smoke-free vacation home has tour/ticket assistance and a garden. Self parking is free. Other amenities include barbecue grills.
All 4 homes provide conveniences like sitting areas and kitchens, plus premium bedding and electric kettles. Guests will also find hair dryers and desks. Housekeeping is not available.
