Apartments On Star offer non-smoking accommodation with between one and three bedrooms, and those with two or three have two en-suite bathrooms, some even fitted with a corner spa. All apartments have a kitchen, complete with stove top, refrigerator and dishwasher. There is a television and a DVD player, a stereo, free Wi-Fi and a coffee grinder. You’ll find some freshly roasted coffee beans as well as shortbread and some locally grown apples, so you know you are in for a pleasant stay.
Additional features common to all configurations at Apartments On Star include heating, an iron and ironing board, an alarm clock, a hair dryer, an electric blanket, a toaster, laundry facilities and of course the all-important towels and linens. Some kitchens have an oven, a dining setting and a bar fridge, and there are apartments with a veranda and an outdoor setting. Rollaway beds and cots are also available, bringing the maximum occupancy to five in the case of the Two Bedroom Townhouse and Spa Standard.
Parking can be undercover or in the carport, and bedding arrangements are combinations of queen and king, the latter being available as king singles also. Some apartments feature stairs, so if you have mobility issues then it would be worth mentioning this at the booking stage.
As you can imagine for something in Hobart, there are myriad attractions whether you are here as a business traveller or on vacation. The famous MONA (Museum of Old and New Art) is a short ferry trip away, whilst you are within easy walking distance of Battery Point, Wrest Point Casino, the shoppers’ paradise of Sandy Bay and of course the ever-popular Salamanca Market.

Fantastic! Stayed in the 3 bed apartment for two nights with my family: my husband and two boys. I can’t fault it and would highly recommend. Perfect distance from everything. We walked everywhere. Close to Everything. Our family of four spent the long weekend in apartment Three. Excellent facilities. Large lounge kitchen area, bedrooms with ensuites. So close to Sandy Bay shops and only a short walk to Salamanca Markets. Cathy a very friendly host. A must for anyone travelling with family.
Great Accommodation. Wonderful accommodation. Very close to restaurants, supermarkets, and bus stop. We mainly walked into central CBD Hobart (15mins). Every thing one needs to self cook, and very attractive living space. Very helpful owner. thanks for a great stay.
