Apartments at York Mansions
Well furnished two and three-bedroom apartments, these have the equipment to make them something of a home from home, with a pleasant garden, close to Launceston’s centre.
Most of the bedrooms have a queen bed or a pair of fairly large singles, and you have top-quality bedding, including electric blankets. Some of the apartments have a shower in their bathroom, while it is also possible to book one with a jetted tub. Either way, you are provided with bathrobes, toiletries and a hair dryer. Apartments At York Mansions all have a kitchen, with an oven, a stove top, a full-size refrigerator and some utensils, dishes and cookware. You additionally have some tea, coffee and milk so you can get a brew on as soon as you arrive. Laundry is taken care of with the washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board, either in the apartment itself or with the shared guest facilities, and the properties are heated with gas log fires.
There is free wireless internet and each of the accommodation options includes a flat-screen television. There is ample living space, with a combined living and dining area in most apartments, and free off-street parking. Among the choices available to you are ground-floor access straight from the car park, or a first or second-floor balcony view of the city. All guests have shared access to the gardens and the barbecue equipment.
Apartments At York Mansions offer one other property which is separate from the others, about ten minutes away from Launceston CBD, and able to accommodate six in two bedrooms. Leichhardt Farm Cottage overlooks the North Esk river in a quiet, rural setting and has wonderful views of Ben Lomond and the vineyards next door.
The apartments are right in the city centre, which means that you are conveniently placed for shopping and sightseeing. Of particular interest are Quadrant Mall for the former and, for the latter, City Park, Princess Theatre and Cataract Gorge Reserve. For a treat if you have young children with you, Launceston Aquatic Centre is highly recommended by parents, and if you’d like a more sedate water-based experience then you can take to the river for a cruise.
Located in Launceston CBD, this hotel is within a 5-minute walk of City Park and Princess Theatre. Launceston Aquatic Centre and University of Tasmania Stadium are also within 15 minutes. East Tamar Junction Station is 22 minutes by foot.

What a great, convenient play to stay. Close to everything, quiet, extremely comfortable beds, spa and lovely gas fire place to warm up room and relax after a day out. Easy access and clear instructions on obtaining key. Has all that you need, plenty of room.
