Luxury is definitely the word here, with a king-size bed, an outdoor hot-water shower, a lounge with a huge television and fireplace, and the sound of the waves lapping on the beach.
Your huge bed is in the main living area of Amaré Beachside Luxury, with the wall-mounted television opposite and a desk and chair just below it. Off to one side is a modest kitchenette with a microwave oven and fridge, while to the other side is a sumptuously furnished armchair, a coffee table and a modern, glowing fireplace.
Thick carpet lines the floor, so feel free to wander around barefoot. The bathroom has a shower, towels, toiletries, a hair dryer and a bathrobe. The place is air-conditioned and heated with fans, free wireless internet and free parking, plus the ingredients for a good continental breakfast. The bi-folding doors lead to a furnished patio and a garden.
The owners have also included a espresso coffee maker, a mini-bar, bottled water, an electric kettle, an iron and ironing board, a safe and even a pair of slippers. There is Netflix on the telly, and there are blackout curtains on the windows. As well as bedside lamps, there are a couple of USB-charging sockets, so you’ll never need to be without a full phone battery.
It wouldn’t be Amaré Beachside Luxury without the ‘beachside’ part, and the sandy shore is but a few steps from your door. After a swim, there is an outdoor shower with warm water so you can rinse yourself off without turning blue in the process. There are bicycles available at no extra cost if you book them in advance, and the area has plenty of cycling routes to explore. If you are driving, Sheffield, known as the Town of Murals, Ulverstone, Burnie, Penguin and Devonport are each less than half an hour away. Alternatively, stroll along to a nearby cafe (the owners recommend La Mar Cafe Providore) or pick up a unique souvenir at Under The Oak – handmade gallery and gifts.
Offering direct access to the beach, this Turners Beach guesthouse is 10.5 mi (16.9 km) from Devonport Ferry Terminal and 27.4 mi (44.1 km) from Lake Barrington International Rowing Course.

There’s nothing not to like - comfy bed, immaculate room. Short stroll to the beach and local cafe. Amazing attention to detail everywhere you looked. 100% would book again.
The room was inviting and the complimentary food / drinks in the fridge was nice. Let us check in early and check out late. Short walk to a private stone beach. Really comfy bed.
The rooms were spotless. Bed amazingly comfortable. The fruits and drinks provided were beautifully fresh and tasty. Can't pick a fault at all.
