Alexanders’ of Richmond consists of a two-storey chalet that you have all to yourself. There are two queen beds in the air-conditioned upstairs bedroom and another one downstairs, all with electric blankets. A lounge and dining area give you a good deal of living space, decorated with varnished wood panelling on the walls. You also have bathroom facilities and a kitchenette, complete with continental-breakfast provisions and a Bodum coffee maker.

Not far from Alexanders’ of Richmond are the old Gaol, the historic St. John’s Church, the aforementioned Richmond Bridge and a number of vineyards and orchards. If you fancy a drive to Hobart, it is just twenty minutes away and the airport can be reached in about fifteen.
